The drinking water is directed through a detachable surface area skimmer to a bespoke micron filter sock, and from there to a MAX protein skimmer. The skimmer implements Pink Sea’s REEF-SPEC standards for SPS corals, passing the whole quantity in the aquarium h2o via the skimmer around 3 instances per hour and with a three to 1 h2o-to-air ratio.
